Easy Fall Wreath

I love Autumn. The gardener in me is a little sad that it's time to put my garden to bed for the winter (minus the   limited fall gardening I do). The crafter in me gets excited because now I can spend my gardening time doing fun fall and winter crafts.  Of course Fall has not officially begun until I hang a seasonal fall wreath on my door. So today I'm happy to announce...
Fall is Officially Here!

I love working with grapevine wreaths because they make it easy to just throw something together. I grabbed about 5 different seasonal picks from the floral section of Michaels, disassembled them and then poked the wire end through the wreath and bent it to hold in place. Easy and it will make it easy to swap out with other stuff for another season.

The downside about grapevine is that last year's wreath took a bit of a toll on my front door's paint job so this year, I hot glued some brown felt tabs to the back of the wreath to help protect the door from some of the scratchy grapevine:

Do you have any fun beginning-of-Fall traditions?  I'd love to hear about them!
