Make a Pre-School Counting Game with Rocks

Life is about to get a lot more interesting in the Creative Green Household as I'm pretty sure we're officially going to *GULP* decide to homeschool my three year old this year. Now, there is the argument that there's not a lot of "school" happening when you're three anyway BUT it's not what our original plan was even last week. And to be honest? I was looking forward to having a few uninterrupted hours every week to work.

All that to say (how is that for the longest intro ever?)...I'm going to be on the look out for interesting homeschool projects. Which is exactly why these great preschool counting rocks caught my eye over on B-Inspired Mama. They involve rocks, crafts and learning. Perfect for my family!

  1. Homeschooling is a WONDERFUL decision. In actuality, you have been homeschooling your pre-schooler ever since he/she was born...why stop now?

Besides, beginning to homeschool is NOT going down a path of no return. Although many people choose to homeschool their kids all the way through high school (we did!), many others do it just for a number of the formative years and then choose other educational options. Every family is different!!!

Enjoy this time of learning and discovery with your child. I wouldn't trade those early years of being my kids' primary teacher for anything in the world!!!!

    1. Thanks for the encouragement, Janis! Our original plan was to send him to pre-school and kindergarten at traditional school and then homeschool at least through elementary. It will be an adventure for sure!
