~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~I was wrapping a gift for my husband the other day in a Cheez-It’s box. Yes, a Cheez-It’s box. At that point, I realized that I have published several fun eco-friendly gift wrapping ideas on DIY Inspired and on Inheriting Our Planet as well. I thought I’d share seven of those creative upcycling ideas with you today.
Cracker Box Father’s Day Gift Wrapping and Free Printable
I may as well start with my husband’s gift! A 5X7 frame fits perfectly in a cracker box.
Pop Top Can Gift Containers
I made some key chains for my best friends and wanted to wrap them in a unique way. I ended up reusing pop top cans and embellished them with patterned paper and ribbon.
Recycled Food Containers & Dyed Coffee Filter Flowers
I made these for my Twin God Daughter’s on their first birthday. Recycled food boxes worked out perfectly because their clothes were so small!
Brown Paper Bag with Neon Color Gift Wrapping
These are a bright mix of fun neon colors mixed with the simplicity of the brown paper bag. This wrapping is perfect for small gifts. I wrapped these for a very special tween in my life.
Recycled Box Gift Bags
I loved making these; and they were quite a hit with the recipient. All you need are boxes, scrapbook paper, ribbon, and decorative tape.
Recycled Food Box Gift Bags
On Inheriting Our Planet, I made similar ones for a Hello Kitty themed gift for my daughter’s best friend’s birthday as well.
Pringle’s Can “Pull Me” Gift Kits
Last but not least! Another one from Inheriting Our Planet; these fun gift kits are great for anyone on your list and are fun to open too!
I hope you enjoyed these seven unique and eco-friendly gift wrapping ideas.
Thank you, Carissa for having me!
